国际化教学是远景学院育人特色中的重要一环，自创院以来一直通过开设国际化课程以拓展学生国际视野，其中由外教授课成为构建国际化教学特色的重要方式，通过其正宗的语音语貌、其国外生活成长背景，使荣誉生可以在远景看世界。

本学期，因新冠疫情外教无法亲临课堂，为保证学生等质同效的感受外教课堂，学院综合考虑设备、场地、时差等因素，如期为我院2020级、2021级英语专业及商务英语专业开设英语口语课程。授课教师为来自美国伍斯特学院的John Petersen，学生集体在教室以线上形式学习，为保证学习效果，学院特从英语专业高年级学生中选拔学生助教管理线下课堂，协调师生互动，提升学习效果。既拓展学生国际视野，又锻炼学生的组织能力、沟通与表达能力和奉献服务意识。

外教线上课堂

John Petersen富有磁性的嗓音每周四晚上在远景501和502教室的上空响起，每堂课老师都会对同学们进行亲切的问候，并以互动形式谈论课程话题。同学们的学习状态从第一节课的不敢说，不会说到现在逐渐开口说，甚至和老师畅聊，大家变化都十分明显。让我们听听他们的感受吧。

Rita: The oral English class of foreign teachers in Prospect College expands students' horizons on the basis of language. The communication and interaction with foreign teachers not only improves our expression ability, but also helps to brainstorm.

Shally:This course is very interesting and I can learn a lot from it. I like the teacher's pronunciation and teaching methods very much. I hope I can learn more useful knowledge in future study.

Carol:I learned a lot of knowledge about the differences between China and The United States. My teacher was very patient, and I gained a lot about the history and politics of the United States.

Joyce:I'm so glad that I can have this lesson.I've learnt a lot of idiomatic speaking skills.

Cindy:In the course of class learned more about the Knowledge and Habits of the United States, is very helpful to learn English.

Taylor:I think I gradually adapt to this teaching mode, teacher speak very carefully. Although sometimes I am not very interested in the teacher's videos, I still insist on watching them.

Posie:For me, this is a rare opportunity. These days, with the guidance and sharing of foreign teachers, I have learned a lot of more authentic American culture.

Camellia:In this class, I have learned a lot. I feel I have made great progress and realized my shortcomings. I will continue to work hard in the future.

Shine:I am very glad to have a foreign teacher's in oral English class. In this class, I got in touch with more authentic English pronunciation and learned a lot of knowledge about the United States.  

Michael：I think the teacher is very friendly and patient. For our oral ability, each class can have rich harvest. These harvest is not only about the improvement of oral ability, but also related language and American cultural understanding. I think this class is very good。
