在金秋的宜人时节，大学英语3视听说课程的课堂迎来了新篇章的启航，第一单元“Life is a learning curve”的主题，如同一位智者，引领着23级的学生们踏上了一场心灵与智慧的探索之旅。其中，平遥国际摄影展志愿者们的分享更是成为了这段旅程中的璀璨亮点。

刘海和平静两位老师别出心裁，邀请了曾在平遥古城以志愿者身份参与国际摄影展的同学们回到课堂。他们用自己的亲身经历，为大家讲述了在平遥的点点滴滴。他们不仅分享了十多天里在平遥的所见所闻，那些丰富的内容、国际化的视角、亲身的体验，更通过精心制作的视频与PPT，让在场的每一个人都仿佛身临其境，共赴了一场视觉与心灵的双重旅行。来自23级软件工程专业的张萌园同学，便是这些志愿者中的闪亮一员。一次偶然的机会，她遇到了一位迷路的外国友人，对方正焦急地寻找行李寄存处。张萌园同学不仅耐心地为其指路，还主动提出帮助对方寄存行李，以便他能更安心地享受摄影展。这一举动让外国友人深受感动，离别时特意挑选了一份小礼物送给她，以表达诚挚的谢意。这份意外的礼物，不仅是对张萌园同学无私帮助的认可，也是中西方文化交流中温暖的见证。

“Life is like a box of chocolates，”这句经典之语，在志愿者的分享中焕发了新的光彩。它不再仅仅是一句简单的比喻，而是成为了他们勇敢探索未知、积极面对挑战的生动写照。在平遥的日子里，他们学会了在不确定中寻找方向，在挑战中磨砺自我，更在跨文化的交流中深刻体会到了英语作为桥梁的力量。

此次分享会，不仅是一场知识的盛宴，更是一次心灵的洗礼。它让学子们深刻领悟到，生活本就是一场没有终点的学习之旅，每一次经历都是一次宝贵的积累，每一次尝试都可能开启新的世界。让我们在探索中成长，在挑战中蜕变，共同绘制一幅幅属于自己的、充满智慧与光芒的生命画卷。

In PIP we arranged materials, prepared certificates, protected exhibits and attended classes. I feel very fulfilled and happy during PIP time. We volunteers and teachers celebrate Mid-autumn Day together which is a warm and pleasant festival.

I still remember the key words from Ms. Chen in the commencement ceremony: 家国情怀（Patriotic Sentiment）国际视野（Global Visionary）远景青年（Prospect College Youth）拥抱世界（Embracing The World）. In PIP I talked with people around the world, exchanged Wechat with them and made many friends. It is a wonderful journey.

This event was a process with both challenges and opportunies. I went through different stages: from feeling at lost to keeping calm and composed. Communication with guest and tourists sharpend my communicative skills. Helping others solve the problems also motivate me to develop myself to handle the things. This experience let me realize that there are different people from different countries coming to this exhibition, I made many excellent friends and broadened my horizons. It was a unique volunteer journey.

In Pingyao International Photography Festival, I took pictures and videos，and edited videos. In addition I protected the exhibition area and ensure the safety of the pictures. I feel that although this activity was tiring, it was also very fulfilling and rewarding. The most challenging part of PIP volunteer service experience is you must stick to do your job. If other student want to participate the activity next time I would like to give them some suggestions. First of all，you should know this is not a travel. It is a volunteer service. Secondly You should do volunteer work with a positive mindset. Last but not least，you should communicate with people in a good way. All in all, this is an unforgettable experience which makes me grow up a lot.
